As of July 12, 2024, This project has been awarded to Mid-State Roofing and Coating Inc, with the awarded amount of $117,032.16. In general, the work shall consist of furnishing all required bonds and insurances, general superintendence, labor, materials, equipment, appurtenances and incidentals required to load the roof via crane, gather and remove loose granules from roof surface, cut a horizontal line 6" up from bottom of existing wall siding, remove existing metal counter flashing, remove existing base flashings, over existing roof adhere a 115 mil black EPDM (rubber) fleecebacked membrane set in a full spray of low rise foam adhesive, flash existing roof drains, scuppers, penetrations, and wall base flashings per manufacturer's 20-year details, terminate top of membrane per manufacturer's details, fabricate and install new counter flashing, fabricate and install new counter flashing cover at base of metal wall panels, furnish a 15-year manufacturer's warranty, and other work as may be further specified in the bid documents. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond in the required form, certified check, letter of credit, or other security acceptable to the Borough of'Ephrata in the amount of 10% of the bidder's total amount of their base bid. The Borough of Ephrata reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to award the bid in the best interests of the Borough. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
