Project Location: 12301 Spotswood Furnace Rd, Fredericksburg, VA 22407 The Work consists of the following: The Work is defined by the Contract Documents and generally includes the removal of a cooling tower and replacement of similar cooling tower. Contract Term will be from the date of Notice to Proceed through January 31, 2025. Spotsylvania County Public Schools will not be bound by verbal responses to questions. Bidder agrees that they shall provide performance and payment bonds for 100% of the contract price if awarded a contract as a result of this bid. Either a cashier's or certified check must accompany bids or an acceptable bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the base bid, made payable to School Board of the County of Spotsylvania. SBCS is requesting Bids from Offerors to provide the most practical, time effective and cost-efficient solution to replace cooling tower at Riverbend High School as described in the Project Manual. The description of services shall establish minimum requirements and expectations. Spotsylvania County Public Schools intends to award to one Contractor but expressly reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality or irregularity in the bids received, and to award a bid to be in the best interests of Spotsylvania County Public Schools. SBCS will accept proposals from all Virginia Licensed, Class A Contractors qualified under the terms of the enclosed Documents.
