Site work and paving for a road / highway in Clyman, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The Work for which Bids are asked includes the following: The proposed project will include pulverizing approximately 17,630 sq. yds. of existing asphalt pavement, grading the pulverized material to act as additional road base, and asphalt paving (3" thickness). Bond Notes: Bids must be accompanied by bid security in the form of a certified check or bid bond equal to five percent of the maximum bid price, payable to the Owner as a guaranty that if the Bid is accepted, the Bidder will execute the Contract Documents and furnish the required contract security. There are no prevailing wage rates for this contract. Funding for this project is provided in part by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation Local Road Improvement Program (LRIP). If the Successful Bidder fails to execute the Contract Documents and provide the required contract security within 15 days after the Notice of Award, the Owner may annul the Notice of Award and the Bid Security will be forfeited. Bids may not be withdrawn within 60 days after the date of the bid opening. Owner Rights: The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, and to award the Contract to the Bidder, who in the judgment of the Owner, will best serve the interest of the Owner. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing.
