Catch Basin, Manhole and Storm Drain Cleaning , Project over $50k, The City of Fitchburg invites sealed bids for Catch basin, Manhole and Storm Drain Cleaning Bids MassDOT prequalification of contractors with the class of work as, Catch basin Cleaning, for the project with an estimated value of $745,500 will be required. A bid deposit of at least five percent (5%) of the total project is required. A Labor and Materials Payment Bond in the sum of 100% of the Contract Price will be required of the successful Bidder. Project is subject to compliance with prevailing wage requirements. This solicitation is being conducted in accordance with the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 30 39M, and any resulting contract will be strictly awarded in accordance with the requirements of the solicitation. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, including without limitation, nonconforming, nonresponsive, unbalanced, or conditional bids. The City reserves the right to waive all informalities not involving price, time, or changes in the scope of work and to negotiate contract terms with the successful bidder. Complete sets of bidding documents shall be used in preparing bids; the City does not assume any responsibility for errors or misinterpretations resulting from the use of incomplete sets of bidding documents or for modifications to the bidding documents including electronic conversion.
