Interior Modifications to add five new classrooms, enclose a Technology closet, and enclose an Electrical closet where the school's Media Center and Stage currently occupies. Modifications include select demolition of interior modular walls, ceilings, and finishes. Modifications will also include construction of new walls, ceilings, doors, and interior finishes. A Bid Security in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, irrevocable letter of credit, or surety company bond pursuant to Chapter 1305 of the Ohio Revised code in the amount of 10% of the total bid shall accompany each bid; or a bid guaranty bond in accordance with Chapter 153.571 of the Ohio Revised Code in the amount of 100% of the total bid shall accompany each bid. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities, irregularities and/or errors in the bids to the extent permitted by law. This includes the right to extend the date and time for receipt of bids. Provide new lights, light switches, receptacles, and technology rough-ins, using surface raceway only where necessary. Relocate existing fire alarm devices as noted on the drawings. Modify and extend existing circuits to include this work. This work is to be bid as Alternate #01. Refer to section 01 23 00 ALTERNATES for more information.
