The City of Shoreline (City), Washington is soliciting a statement of qualifications (SOQ) from individuals or firms interested in providing design services for the 2025 Pavement Preservation Projects. Deliver a complete design and cost estimate of the 2025 City pavement preservation projects, listed below: 1. NW 200th St. Pavement Preservation (between 3rd Avenue NW and Whiteman Ave N). 2. 2025 Bituminous Surface Treatment Project (various streets). These efforts will include analysis of pavement preservation alternatives, a pavement engineering investigation, pavement design, and upgrading pedestrian facilities to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). The Scope of Services is expected to include, but not be limited to, the following tasks: o Develop preliminary and final designs, including all plans, specifications, and opinions of probable cost for each project separately. o Identify right-of-way and property rights needed for project completion. o Lead the right-of-way acquisition process. o Obtain State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA) environmental document approval. o Perform survey and base-mapping. o Engage the public and stakeholders in the design process. o Investigate Geotech and Pavement engineering. o Perform pavement design and analyses. o Lead the coordination with utility (design and relocation), including public and privatelyowned utilities. o Provide assistance to City staff during bidding process and provide technical support during construction. o Provide overall management of the consultant team.
