Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Chatham, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

2. Description of Work: The proposed work consists of cold milling the existing asphalt surface and replacing the bike path with PCC pavement including all saw cutting, removal and paving a variable depth HMA Surface Course, IL 9.5, Mix C, N50 (Fiber Modiied), along with removal and replacement of sidewalk curb ramps and trafic control, oficially known as the VILLAGE OF CHATHAM, KEYSTONE DRIVE- HMA MILL AND OVERLAY, Chatham, Illinois. The project shall consist of saw cutting, cold milling and disposal of existing HMA surface course, placement of temporary ramps, overlay of existing pavement with variable depth HMA Surface Course (Fiber Modiied), removal and replacement of ADA sidewalk ramps and adjacent curb, and all trafic control along Keystone Drive adjacent to the work. The length of the project is 826 LF and the nominal pavement width is 27 LF. All work shall be in accordance with the contract documents and details and shall be performed in accordance with the Illinois Department of Transportation Standard Speciications for the work and materials speciied. Construction Layout and site QA/QC shall be performed by the Contractor. All labor and materials are included as part of this Request for Proposals and shall be subject to the Illinois Department of Labor Prevailing Wages for such work. As a condition of this contract, all work shall be performed by a Prime contractor prequaliied by the State of Illinois to do work for the Illinois Department of Transportation, including sub-contractors. All work must be completed by August 30, 2024. 3. Method of Payment: This work shall paid at the agreed contract unit prices. Final payment will be made based upon completion and acceptance of the improvements. All materials furnished shall be from an Illinois Department of Transportation approved source. 5. Rejection of Bids: The Owner reserves the right to waive technicalities or to reject any or all proposals. Award will not be made solely upon the prices bid, but rather the inalselection by the Village of Chatham Board.
