Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Chatham, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

The project shall consist of excavating, forming, and placing concrete sidewalks on a mechanically compacted subgrade at South Park. The PCC sidewalk shall be 388 linear feet, 4" thick, and 5' wide, and 183 linear feet, 4" thick (with thickened edge), and 7' wide. Six concrete pads with a 4" thickness shall be constructed connecting the sidewalks to the pickleball courts. The concrete pads shall have the approximate dimensions: 6.75' x 6' (SW), 6' x 6' (NW), 8' x 12' (N), 8.75' x 6' (NE), 8' x 6' (SE), and 21' x 12' (S). The 21' x 12' concrete pad shall be divided into two segments by three standard 7" high steps and shall have three 42" steel tube handrails on each side and in the center of the steps. The 21' x 12' concrete pad shall be divided into three segments by three standard 7"" high steps and shall have three 42"" steel tube handrails on each side and center of the steps.
