The Project is for the loading, hauling and land application of approximately 3,500 cubic yards per year of dried, anaerobically digested biosolids from the Salt Creek Sanitary District wastewater treatment plant. Biosolids shall be removed every three months and applied to agronomic or other suitable types of land in accordance with all local, state and federal regulations and any local, state or federal permits issued to the District for such activities. All work shall be completed in accordance with Contract Documents and Specifications for Land Application of Dried Biosolids issued May 20, 2024, and any addenda thereto. Prevailing wage requirements apply. The base term of the contract is August 1, 2024, through July 31, 2026, with renewal options as described in Section 00 72 00.
