A general scope of work is provide below but your proposal should also clearly outline the scope of work that each firm expects to be necessary to complete the project. 1. Project Management: Establish an effective working relationship between the consultant team, Town departments and staffs, and defines the Plan's stakeholders, and community outreach activities. 2. Inventory of Existing Conditions: Assess the Town's current practices using a set of key sustainability metrics to understand the key challenges and opportunities. 3. Establish Sustainability Goals: Work with key stakeholders to establish specific, time-bound sustainability goals. 4. Develop a Sustainability Action Plan: Develop a set of actions and initiatives that enable the Town to achieve the sustainability goals. 5. Implement Actions and Initiatives: Develop a timeline for implementation of the sustainability plan. Establish a framework for monitoring implementation progress using key sustainability metrics. 6. Report Results: Develop a communication plan to report on the implementation progress of the sustainability action plan. All material submitted regarding this RFP shall become the property of the Town. The Town has the right to use any or all ideas presented in reply to this RFP, regardless of the consultant awarded; disqualification of any consultant does not eliminate this right. The Town reserves the right to reject or accept any or all proposals or waive any formalities, informalities, or information therein. The Town reserves the right to withdraw or cancel this RFP at any time. The Town also reserves the right to select any consultant that it believes can perform the work, in its sole discretion, regardless of fee estimate. Any contract negotiated between Town staff and the selected firm is subject to Town Board approval.
