Renovation of an educational facility in Nanticoke, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Security that shall not be less than ten percent (10%) of the amount of the Total Base Bid; a Non-Collusion Affidavit of Prime Bidder; and a Statement of Bidders Qualification. The successful Bidder will be required to obtain a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond. Refer to additional information and other bidding requirements described in the Contract Documents. LCCC reserves the right to waive any informalities, defects, errors, or omissions in, or to reject any or all bids, proposals, or parts thereof. Installation, operation, maintenance, and removal of each temporary facility necessary for its own normal construction activity, and costs and use charges associated with each facility. Its own field office, complete with necessary furniture, utilities, and telephone service. Its own storage and fabrication sheds. Temporary enclosures for its own construction activities. Staging and scaffolding for its own construction activities. Waste disposal facilities, including collection and legal disposal of its own hazardous, dangerous, unsanitary, or other harmful waste materials. Progress cleaning of work areas affected by its operations on a daily basis. Secure lockup of its own tools, materials, and equipment. Construction aids and miscellaneous services and facilities necessary exclusively for its own construction activities The work shall include, but is not limited to, refinishing the gymnasium floor including removal of wooden wall base and replacement with rubber wall base along the perimeter of the gymnasium floor, resetting of boxes, layout, painting of lines, clean-up, etc. Temporary facilities and controls include, but are not limited to, the following: Temporary utilities Temporary enclosures Temporary lighting Excavation support and protection Project identification and temporary signs Temporary fire-protection facilities and accessories (e.g. fire extinguishers) Barricades, warning signs, and lights Covered walkways and means of egress Security enclosure and lockup Environmental protection Restoration of Owner's existing facilities used as temporary facilities Pedestrian protection
