Tecumseh Public Schools (District) invites the submission of sealed bids from licensed, reputable and qualified contractors forthe provision of Elevator Maintenance, Service, and Repair (Contractor). Contractor shall provide all services necessary to inspect, maintain, test, and certify District elevators as required by the effective version of the Michigan elevator rules, codes and laws as they may be amended from time to time. Question Deadline 06/22/2024 The district will not respond to any requests for clarification less than five (5) business days from the deadline to submit the proposal. All requests for clarification and inquire must be made via email. All requests for clarification must be directed to Joshua Mattison, Director of Operations at jmattison@tps.k12.mi.us. With the subject line as the "Name of the RFP". Reservation of Award: The contractor will be awarded to the responsible bidder whose proposal is within the competitive range and determined to be the most advantageous to the Tecumseh Public Schools. Price, experience, references and other factors are considered. Tecumseh Publics Schools reserves the right to make awards within sixty (60) days after the date of the bid opening during 4 which period bids may not be withdrawn. The Board of Education or its designee reserves the right to reject any or all bids, in part or in total, for any objective or subjective reason whatsoever. Late bids will not be opened. This is a three-year agreement with an option to extend the agreement for up to 3 additional years, at the discretion of the Director of Operations.
