2024 STORM REPAIR AND REPLACEMENT PROJECT All bids shall be filed with the City Clerk on or before the time set for bid opening. The major items of work include upsizing a storm pipe and adding a catch basin, adding an access ramp to a pond, replacing or retrofitting storm filter vault lids, adding fountainstyle aerators to a pond, and enhancing pond security with chain link fence. The proposed bid range for the project is from $450,000 to $550,000. The entire project, including cleanup, shall be physically completed within 80 working days. This project is funded with City of Auburn monies. All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid deposit in cash, certified check, cashier's check or proposal bond (surety bond) in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such Contract and furnish satisfactory Contract Bond within the time stated in the Bid Documents, the bid deposit shall be forfeited to the City of Auburn. Disadvantaged, Minority, and Women's Business Enterprises are encouraged to respond.
