**As of July 18, 2024, This project has been awarded to Bear Communications, Inc, with the awarded amount of $51,481.** It is the intent of Washington County Public Schools (WCPS) to solicit sealed proposals from qualified vendors for services of a BDA (bi-directional amplifier) system, experienced in the "turn-key" design, installation, testing and commissioning of 2-Way Radio Communications Enhancement Radio Amplification Systems in Washington County, Maryland and the City of Hagerstown. It is the intent of Washington County Public Schools (WCPS) to solicit sealed proposals from qualified vendors for services of a BDA (bi-directional amplifier) system, experienced in the "turn-key" design, installation, testing and commissioning of 2-Way Radio Communications Enhancement Radio Amplification Systems in Washington County, Maryland and the City of Hagerstown. The installed system shall be compliant with the most current Washington County Department of Permitting Services Standard, included as exhibit A (2020 version). The integrator shall assume responsibility for using the most current version of the County/City Standards. This is a completely turn-key procurement and includes all work that is required by related trades such as electrical, fire alarm, core drilling, roof penetrations, etc., for a fully functioning and Washington County/City of Hagerstown code-compliant system. In addition to, or in lieu of, paying for any incurred replacement costs(s), the awarded vendor(s) may pay liquidated damages, in the amount of $500 per day, for any delay or failure in performance, as well as any related damages sustained by WCPS.
