The construction of +- 2.98 miles of asphalt resurfacing, including +- 2,890 tons of 12.5mm Superpave, +- 964 tons of leveling, +- 11.92 LM of high build striping, +- 597 LF of 18" RCP pipe, +- 181 LF of 24" RCP pipe, +-117 LF of 42" RCP pipe, and all appurtenances necessary for a complete job. All work on the Project must be completed within 180 consecutive calendar days of date of notice to proceed. No bid will be considered unless sealed and filed with Pierce County prior to the time set forth above, and accompanied by a Bidder's Bond, payable to Pierce County for 10 percent of the amount of the bid; to be forfeited as liquidated damages in the event that the bid be accepted and the bidder fail to enter promptly into a written contract and furnish the required Payment Bond and Performance Bond and Insurance Certificates. Bids arriving after the designated time will be returned unopened. No bids shall be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the opening of bids.
