Project number - 3070-130 The work under this Contract will consist generally of the following: The construction of approximately +- 9,141 LF of 6" C900 Class 150 PVC water main, +- 44, 6" mechanical joint ductile iron gate valves, +- 12, 3-way fire hydrant assemblies, +- 6 connections to existing water mains, +- 95 SY concrete removal and replacement, +-345 SY of Class A pavement removal and replacement, erosion control, and all appurtenances necessary for a complete job. All work on the Project must be completed within 180 consecutive calendar days of date of notice to proceed. No bid will be considered unless sealed and filed with Lumber City prior to the time set forth above, and accompanied by a Bidder's Bond, payable to the City of Lumber City, Georgia, for 10 percent of the amount of the bid; to be forfeited as liquidated damages in the event that the bid be accepted and the bidder fail to enter promptly into a written contract and furnish the required Payment Bond and Performance Bond and Insurance Certificates. Bids arriving after the designated time will be returned unopened. Lumber City is committed to Affirmatively Further Fair Housing.
