to set up an appointment. The Parks and Forestry maintenance shop has existing interior heavy-duty trench drains and
grates running approximately 113 feet down the middle of the concrete floor. There are three
(3) sections separated by a catch basin in between, all of which are connected, so what is caught
in the trench can drain properly into the municipal sewer system. There are multiple Parks and
Forestry and DPW equipment and vehicles that drive over the trench drains on a daily basis.
Some of these heavy vehicles and equipment include bucket trucks (34,200 GVWR), tandem
dump/plow trucks (up to 60,000 GVWR), wheel loaders (up to 34,810 GVWR), a hydro-excavator
vacuum truck (GVW 43000#), street sweepers, tractors, trailers, wide-area mowers, etc. The
trench drain is exposed to salt, rocks, mud, grass clippings, road debris and chemical cleaners on
a frequent basis. The current condition of the trench drain, surrounding concrete, sewer trap
and connections are deteriorating and requires replacement. Location of project is at 622 S. Worthington Street, Oconomowoc, WI 53066. (see attached map). This work shall include all work necessary for replacement trench drain and grates and any other
sewer cap, sewer pipe and connections to complete the work. All spoils/concrete/grates/old
pipe/etc. shall be removed and disposed of by the Contractor All communications or questions concerning this bid and for obtaining the complete bid packet of
