Demolition, site work and addition to a mixed-use development in Port Townsend, Washington. Completed plans call for the addition of a pre-engineered storage facility; for the demolition of a pre-engineered storage facility; and for site work for a pre-engineered storage facility.
Scope of Work: Jefferson Transit Authority (JTA) Maintenance Bay Expansion generally includes a new, approximately 1,700 SF, one story pre-engineered expansion building that is connected to the existing building, comprised of enclosed and heated space for the maintenance of vehicles as well as existing site modifications including concrete, stormwater and utility systems. It is recommended that Bidders "Register" in order to receive automatic e-mail notification of future addenda and to place themselves on the "Self-Registered Bidders List". Bidders that do not register will not be automatically notified of addenda and will need to periodically check the on-line plan room for addenda issued on this project. Washington at (425) 258-1303 should you require assistance with access or registration A Bid Security must accompany each bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Envelopes containing the sealed bids shall be marked clearly and sent or delivered to: Jefferson Transit Authority, 63 Four Corners Road, Port Townsend, Washington; 98368 The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive minor irregularities in the bidding process, and to accept the bid deemed best for them. All questions must be submitted in writing to Mark Hurley via email to mark@tcfarchitecture.com by the closing date of June 21, 2024. Substitution Requests: Architect will consider request for substitution received no later than ten (10) working days prior to receipt of Bids. Requests received after that time may be considered or rejected at the discretion of the Architect. Estimate range is $800,000 - $950,000 Questions from the pre-bid meeting and any emails for the project will be answered via an addendum by June 26, 2024. This project is subject to meet Washington State prevailing wages rates. All work performed on the project will be subject to the approved wage determination rates in the bid documents.
