Excavate and install piping, valves for a reuse water pipeline in public ROW. The Project consists of: Schedule B: Construct reuse waterline. The project shall be governed by the contract documents and WCWSID Standards and Specifications. To emphasize these items' importance to the District, note that traffic control and public notification shall be performed as specified. A 5% Bid security is required for this project. The contract will be awarded, if it is to be awarded based on this solicitation, to the responsive, responsible bidder (please refer specifically to Article 3 in Section 1.2) submitting the lowest bid. The WCWSID reserves the right to reject any or all bids and make award in the District's sole interest. The Work shall be completed by June 15, 2025. Work will occur in Weber County ROW, patching of roadway on completed work shall be completed prior to cold weather as dictated by Weber County Engineering Standards. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis for each Schedule. DESCRIPTION: The CONTRACTOR shall furnish all labor, materials, tools and equipment, and perform all work necessary to complete required excavations and backfills. Work shall also include required grading for completion of water lines and associated appurtenances all in accordance with the Drawings and these specifications. The work shall include: clearing the site; loosening, loading, removing, transporting and disposing of materials, wet and dry, necessary for construction; sheeting and bracing; draining and dewatering; backfill of trenches, excavations, and pits; compaction, compaction testing, leveling, signing, detours, mobilization, and clean up.
