Start Date for the project can begin May 27, 2025 and MUST be completed by September 15, 2025. Liquidated damages of $200.00 per day will be applied if project is not completed by September 15, 2025. BID SECURITY: Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified ched, cashiers check or bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the toal bid price payable to Weber School District as a guarantee tha the bidder, if his bid is accepted, will promptly execute the Contract, secure payment of worker's compsensation insurand and furnish satisfactory, faithful performance bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price and a payment bond in the amount of one hundred (100%) of the contract price. Project includes, but is not limited to mechanical work involving the demolition of the existing hot waterpiping, heating for hot water piping, and pumps, The project also inculdes, but is not limited to electrical work involving the demolition of the existing electrical systems serving the boiler, pumps, mechanical equipment etc. and the installation of new conduit and conductors, variable frequency drives and disconnects for serving the new boilers, and pumps. Attached are the specifications for this project. All specifications must be met. The Board of Education, Weber School District, reserves the right to accept or reject any or all quotes or any portion thereof and to waive any abnormalities during the bidding process as the District deems to be in their best interest.
