Bids Are Invited For The Following Contract: Installation Of New Sidewalks, Curb Cuts, Accessible Ramps And Associated Improvements, Etc. Bid Security Must Be Accompanied By A Certified/cashiers Check Or Bid Bond In The Amount Of Ten Percent (10%) Of The Bid Amount, Made Payable To The Borough Of Oakland Within Ten (10) Days After Notice Of Award. The Borough Of Oakland Reserves The Right To Reject Any And All Bids And To Accept The Bid Which Is In The Best Interest Of The Borough. Compliance Is Required With The Davis-bacon Act And Other Federal Requirements In The Contract Documents Including But Not Limited To Equal Employment Opportunity, Nondiscrimination In Hiring Practices, Goals For Minority And Female Participation, Mbe And Wbe Participation, Participation By Section 3 Residents And Businesses, And Related Matters. All Qualified Bids Of Contractors Will Receive Equal Consideration Without Regard To Race, Color, Religion, Creed, Ancestry, National Origin, Gender Or Sexual Orientation No Bidder May Withdraw His Bid Within 60 Days After The Actual Date Of The Opening Thereof. The Owner Reserves The Right To Waive Any Informality Or To Reject Any Or All Bids.
