Description

Demolition, site work and asbestos abatement for a municipal facility in Shickshinny, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the demolition of a municipal facility; for site work for a municipal facility; and for asbestos abatement for a municipal facility.

The scope of work includes, but is not limited to all labor, materials, oversight and permits required to demolish the existing structures, in their entirety and provide asbestos assessment and removal, if any, as well as restoration of the sites. Bids must be accompanied by a bid bond with a corporate surety authorized to do business in Pennsylvania, in accordance with the project specifications in the amount of 10% of the total bid amount. Davis Bacon wage rates apply to this project. The Borough of Shickshinny is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Minority and women owned businesses and those defined as Section 3 businesses (DBE) under federal regulations are encouraged to submit proposals. The Borough of Shickshinny reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or portions thereof or to waive any informalities in bidding and to withhold award for a period of sixty days.
