Renovation of a library in Hamilton, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a library.
Bidders eligible to submit Bids for this Request for Tenders have been previously selected through the process of a Request for Prequalifications, issued under Contract C14-05-22 which closed on August 2, 2022. The scope proposed at Barton Library and Kenilworth Library includes but is not limited to the removal and replacement of built-up roofing on main structure and canopy, removal and replacement of all sheet metal flashing, replacement of drains at main roof, replacement of existing drains, replacement of scupper and downspout at canopy roof and local wood repairs. The scope of enclosure renewals proposed at Kenilworth Library includes replacement of the small asphalt shingle roofs and local slate shingle replacement at cracked or missing slates. Both buildings to remain in-use and inhabited throughout the duration of renewal construction, no change in occupancy, use, footprint or parking.
