Site work and paving for a civil project in Morton, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Est. Value: $ 992,700.00 A contract will be awarded, or all bids rejected within 45 days after the bid opening. Bids received after the fixed time for opening cannot be considered. All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in cash, certified check, cashier's check, or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish satisfactory performance bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the City of Morton. This Contract provides the improvements of 122,000 SY of the City of Morton roadway surface by preparing the surface and applying high float emulsion asphalt and crushed cover stone, also known as Otta Seal. The project also includes erosion control and the reinstallation of existing pavement markings and other work, all in accordance with the attached Contract Plans, these Contract Provisions, and the Standard Specifications.
