Renovation of a multi-residential development in Hamilton, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.

CityHousing Hamilton is replacing the generator at 350 and 360 King Street East, Hamilton. The Project scope of Work consists of the disconnection, removal, and disposal of the existing diesel driven emergency generator complete with all fuel oil supply and return piping, exhaust silencer, exhaust pipe, controls and containment curbs and the supply, installation and commissioning of new natural gas fired emergency generator on a new housekeeping pad including a new exhaust silencer complete with thermal insulation and roller hangers and supplemental ventilation requirements for the new generator, sound attenuation of the room, installation of new natural gas service for the new generator, protection of gas pipes to provide mandatory fire resistance rating, replacement of the generator room door with a new, addition of a damper control system and a unit heater. It also includes addition of new fire alarm zones to reflect the code mandated monitoring signals, changes to electrical distribution wiring supply of new life safety and non-life safety automatic transfer switches, 3-way connection for load bank tests and temporary generator, addition of a fire pump controller with an ATS.
