The purpose of this project is to ensure accurate measurement and billing of potable water usage for residential and commercial customers, as well as to improve the overall efficiency and reliability of the potable water distribution system. Potable Water Meter Change Outs Question Deadline August 19, 2024, 12:00pm Scope of Work: Potable Water Meter Change Outs This scope of work includes the replacement and installation of potable water meters in various sizes, including 5/8, 1, 1.5 and 2 meters, within the City of Fort Myers, FL. The purpose of this project is to ensure accurate measurement and billing of potable water usage for residential and commercial customers, as well as to improve the overall efficiency and reliability of the potable water distribution system. Installation Requirements: The installation of the water meters shall be performed by qualified technicians with experience in water meter installations. The installation shall comply with all relevant codes, standards, and regulations, including but not limited to the City of Fort Myers Plumbing Code and the AWWA Manual M6 - Water Meters-Selection, Installation, Testing, and Maintenance.
