As of July 26, 2024 project was awarded to Eastern Iowa Excavating & Concrete, awarded amount is $100,835.80. Spring Grove Cemetery Road Improvements Sections 19 & 20. General This project consists of the installation of a new eleven (11) foot wide asphalt roadway within the City of Medina Spring Grove Cemetery along with the associated grading and drainage required for the new roadway. Below please find a general summary of items that are included as a part of this project: 1. Earthwork and grading necessary for the new roadway. 2. Installation of a new 2-2A catch basin. 3. Installation of under drain. 4. Installation of erosion control BMPs including a stone construction entrance, filter fabric fence, and inlet protection. 5. Subgrade proof rolling. 6. Furnishing and installing geotextile subgrade reinforcing matting. 7. Furnishing and installing granular embankment for pavement base material. 8. Installation of asphalt pavement. 9. Final grading, and seeding of all areas within the construction limits. 10. Any tree removal and stump grinding will be will be completed under a SEPARATE CONTRACT. Project Description: The project consists of the complete the construction of a new 11 foot wide asp halt drive including underdrain in the City's Spring Grove Cemetery. Each bid must be accompanied by a Certified or Cashier's Check, or a bid bond, in the amount of 10 percent of the total amount bid, made payable to the City of Medina, Ohio as guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, a contract will be entered into with the City within thirty (30) days and its performance secured by a performance bond in the amount of 100 percent of the contract price, and in default thereof, said check or bond will be forfeited to the City of Medina as liquidated damages.
