Site work and paving for a road / highway in Fitchburg, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

prequalification of contractors with the class of work as, pavement surfacing, for the project with an estimated value of $2,690,616 will be required. A bid deposit of at least five percent (5%) of the total project is required. A Labor and Materials Payment Bond in the sum of 100% of the Contract Price will be required of the successful Bidder. This solicitation is being conducted in accordance with the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 30 39M, and any resulting contract will be strictly awarded in accordance with the requirements of the solicitation. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, including without limitation, nonconforming, nonresponsive, unbalanced, or conditional bids. The City reserves the right to waive all informalities not involving price, time, or changes in the scope of work and to negotiate contract terms with the successful bidder.
