The County of Sonoma is soliciting proposals to retain an experienced and qualified consulting firm to coordinate, facilitate and prepare an update to the current FEMA-approved MJHMP. The work will involve completing background and technical work regarding hazards, coordinating closely with County staff, conducting public outreach and plan consistent with the goals and objectives of the most current version of the State of California Hazard Mitigation Plan and accepted by CalOES and FEMA. The goal is to execute a professional service agreement to provide the services described in this RFP. The proposed budget should be a firm fixed price, inclusive of all expenses. Proposers will be required to submit any and all questions in writing per the schedule in order for staff to prepare written responses to all consultants. Written answers will be shared with all potential bidders through an addendum on the County's Supplier Portal and email notification. The living wage rate required under the County's Living Wage Ordinance (LWO) has increased. Effective January 1, 2024, the living wage rate required under the LWO shall be $18.10 per hour. The adjustment was adopted by the County's Board of Supervisors on December 12, 2023, in accordance with Sonoma Municipal Code section 2-377(d). All covered employees must be paid at least the increased living wage rate. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
