Anticipated Contract Completion: Date: October 25, 2024. Each bid must be submitted on the proposal forms provided in the Invitation to Bid. The bid must be submitted in a sealed opaque envelope. The Bidder's name, return address, marked as bid, Bid number, and bid opening date must appear on the outside of the envelope. Other bid formats will be rejected. Each bid must also be accompanied by a security in the form of a bid bond issued by a corporate surety, a certified check or cashier's check payable to the Treasurer of Amador County, or cash for an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the aggregate sum of the bid. This bid is not subject to federal-aid contract requirements. No pre bid meeting is scheduled for this project. The successful bidder shall be required to furnish a Performance Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract price, a Payment Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract price.
