The County of Amador is seeking sealed bids for the furnishing of all labor, tax, bonds, insurance, permits, premiums, shipping, transportation, services, disposal, equipment, materials, and appurtenant facilities for the installation of a video security system for the Amador County District Attorney's Office. Questions must be received no later than Thursday, September 26, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. Online - Q&A The work includes but is not limited to the following for Amador County District Attorney Security Cameras. The contractor shall: o Meet with County Representative to verify each location, mounting height and direction of view of all fourteen (14) cameras before installing. Contractor shall provide a live picture/video on a monitor of each camera so County Representative can accurately approve. o Install CAT6 cable to each camera location from District Attorney intermediate distribution frame (IDF). o Install industry appropriate conduit where needed and use existing low voltage conduit or Panduits in the building where appropriate and where approved by the owner. Conduit installations are to meet industry standards as appropriate for the application. o Terminate CAT6 cables in the IDF using Panduit Mini-COM TX6 Jacks Black (CJ688TGBL) and insert the jacks to an existing owner provided Panduit 48-port Patch Panel (CPPL48M6BLY). Terminations are to be T568B. o Terminate CAT6 cables in accordance with manufacturer's latest installation requirements and TIA/EIA-568-C standard installation practices with T568B terminations. o Terminate and test all CAT6 cables and provide test results to County. (Owner to patch each newly completed network port into the existing network providing 1 Gbps speed and PoE+ (IEEE 802.3at) power.) o Securely mount fourteen (14) cameras in the previously approved locations by County. o Securely mount four (4) viewing monitors in locations approved by County with CAT6 cable running back to District Attorney IDF. o Provide manufacture training for the video system as described in construction specifications. o Include as part of the bid miscellaneous devices, accessory objects and similar items incidental to or required for a complete installation whether or not mentioned as part of the Work. o Any and all required labor, tax, bonds, insurance, permits, premiums, shipping, transportation, services, disposal, equipment, materials, appurtenant facilities, and work required to complete the Amador County District Attorney Security Cameras. The Contract Price shall include the entire cost of all work "incidental" to completion of the Work
