The Amador County Department of Transportation and Public Works ("County") is seeking Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from qualified firms to provide on-call professional services for inception and implementation for miscellaneous projects and the acquisition of project funding. This includes but not limited to: Preliminary Engineering Final Design Environmental and regulatory permitting Grant Writing The purpose of this Request for Qualification (RFQ) is to contract with three (3) to five (5) qualified consultants ("Consultant") to provide professional and technical services as requested by the County including services related to delivery of various types of road construction and maintenance projects funded by SB1 revenue or other funding sources. All work pursuant to this RFQ will be performed by the Consultant on an as-needed basis. For the duration of this on-call contract, the Consultant may be requested to provide services to support the development and implementation of County programs and/or projects. Each on-call master contract awarded to a selected Consultant under this solicitation will be for a three (3) year period (defined as three fiscal years 2025/2026, 2026/2027, and 2027/2028, a fiscal year defined as July 1 to June 30). The three (3) to five (5) top ranked Consultants will be selected to start negotiations to issue an on-call master contract. At the time needed, each on-call Consultant will be requested to submit scope of work and cost proposals for a given task order. Task orders are limited to a maximum not to exceed amount of $150,000 per fiscal year, per Consultant. The purpose of task orders is to allow the County to have multiple projects going at any one time. The County would like to see each on-call Consultant having one to two projects per year.
