Renovation of a residential development in Fleming Island, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 2,894-square-foot residential development.
Clay County is requesting quotes from qualified Contractors to provide residential roof replacement at the following location: 475 Springbrook Drive Fleming Island, FL 32003 The residence has 2,894 square feet under the roof. Question Submission Deadline: July 25, 2024, 4:30pm Question Response Deadline: July 26, 2024, 4:30pm The Davis-Bacon and Related Acts (DBRA) generally apply to contractors and subcontractors performing on federal and federally assisted contracts in excess of $2,000 for construction, alteration, or repair (including painting and decorating). Laborers and mechanics performing on the site of the work of DBRA-covered contracts are entitled to receive prevailing wage rates for such work. Substantial Completion shall be obtained within forty-five (45) days from Notice to Proceed. Final Completion shall be obtained within sixty (60) days from Notice to Proceed. The Contractor shall be assessed Liquidated Damages (LD) of $100.00 for each day past final completion date set by the Contract. If the Contractor fails to maintain acceptable product quality or to perform adequately in accordance with the terms, conditions and specifications established in this Request for Bids, the County reserves the right to cancel the contract upon thirty (30) days written notice to the Contractor.
