Renovation of an educational facility in Fleming Island, Florida. Working plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade educational facility.

Furnish all labor and materials for the construction of Fleming Island High School Fire Alarm Replacement according to the plans and specifications prepared by the designated engineering firm. Prime bidders submitting a bid must register their intention to bid and hold plan sets. Only full sets of drawings and/or specifications should be used. Pre-qualification requirements: Only Contractors pre-qualified by the School District of Clay County are eligible to submit bids. All contractual personnel permitted access on school grounds when students are present must meet Level 2 screening requirements according to Florida Statutes. Bidders not attending the mandatory pre-bid meeting will not be permitted to submit a bid. Entities or affiliates on the discriminatory vendor list are not permitted to submit a bid or participate in the project in any capacity. 1. Demolition: The project includes demolition of the existing fire alarm system and all associated equipment, wiring, and devices. All existing installations are not necessarily shown in the contract drawings. 2. New Work: The project includes a completely new fire alarm system, and sound equipment, with control panel, terminal boxes, booster power supplies, batteries, devices, wires / cables, conduits, supporting power distribution, fire alarm system testing / certifications / training, and other work required for a complete operable fire alarm system.
