Demolition, site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Bonifay, Florida. Completed plans call for the demolition of a educational facility; for the renovation of a 4,000-square-foot educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.
The Project includes the following Work: This project consists of rehabilitation of a 4,000 sf building. Construction activities will include demolition/removal of ceiling grid, tiles, light fixtures, heating duct, window units, and concrete block; concrete work; replacement/installation of ceiling and wall insulation, grid and tile; carpentry framing; exterior finishing including brick work, soffit, fascia, ceiling panels, aluminum coil, panels, siding, batten strips, gutter installation; electrical light fixtures, ventilators, fans, and wall receptacles; Plumbing; HVAC; and Roofing, per the plans and specifications. Contractor is responsible for obtaining required city/county permits. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all bids. Each Bidder must deposit with his/her bid, security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. Sureties used for obtaining bonds must appear as acceptable according to the Department of Treasury Circular 570. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids. The project includes Federal funding and is subject to Federal labor and wage requirements. Bidders are encouraged to solicit Minority and Service-Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise participation and provide documentation of such solicitation. Minority/Women/Veteran-Owned businesses are encouraged to submit proposals, and firms using such subcontractors are strongly encouraged to solicit such firms in the subcontracting process. Any Contracts/subcontracts issued under this procurement must comply with the necessary affirmative steps to assure that minority/women/veteran-owned business enterprises, and labor surplus area firms are used when possible, in accordance with 2 CFR 200.321.
