Scope of Work Greenwich Public Schools is soliciting this Request for Proposal (RFP) to identify a firm to provide a host neutral active Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS). Respondents to this RFP will design, install, and maintain a DAS that provides voice and data cellular communications coverage at Greenwich High School, located at 10 Hillside Road, Greenwich, CT for at least the years 2024/2025, 2025/2026, 2026/2027, 2027/2028 and 2028/2029 The Greenwich High School building is a 3-floor building, with two floors above grade and one below grade, totaling approximately 475,000 square feet (475,000 ft2 ). This location has approximately 3000 occupants during the week M-F, with varying demand for cellular voice and data services. Due to safety needs, the increasing demand for wireless services, and the continuously evolving technologies available for the delivery of those services, Greenwich Public Schools is looking to a firm to deploy and maintain a Distributed Antenna System (DAS) that can provide the requisite level of cellular service at Greenwich High School. Solutions to be considered, include, but are not limited to both indoor and outdoor DAS for both voice and data services. The contract will be awarded by the Board of Education to the qualified firm or person at compensation determined to be fair and reasonable considering budgetary limitations, scope, complexity and the nature of goods and/or services. All questions must be received no later than July 9, 2024, 12:00 noon EST and all responses will be posted electronically no later than July 16, 2024 at 12:00 noon. Failure to comply with these conditions will result in the proposer waiving his/her right to dispute the proposal specifications and conditions. The Board of Education reserves the right to waive any informality in the proposal or reject any or all proposals or to accept any proposal, which appears to be in the best interest of the Board. Any proposal may be withdrawn prior to the opening time and date. Any proposal received after the time and date as specified will not be considered.
