Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Saugatuck, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

The project includes potholing and recording of the material of existing water services throughout the City of Saugatuck. The project includes 653 in-home material verifications, 193 corporation stop material verifications, 190 public and private-side of the curb stop box material verifications, 63 private side only curb stop material verifications, and 3 public-side only curb stop material verifications. Work will include surface restoration, concrete removal and replacement, HMA removal and replacement, and traffic control as necessary for the potholing operation. The work for this project shall be coordinated with the City of Saugatuck 2024 Asphalt Repairs, which will commence in the Fall of 2024 along portions of Francis Street, Griffith Street, Mason Street, and Lucy Street. The work for the City of Saugatuck 2024 Asphalt Repairs contract will include milling and overlaying the existing asphalt roadway. The potholing operation for this contract along the above streets shall occur prior to the paving operation of the 2024 Asphalt Repair Contract. Coordination between the two contracts shall be conducted as to not interfere with the operation of either contract. The City of Portland has received a Technical, Managerial, and Financial Grant from the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes and Energy (EGLE) for approximately $166,000 of construction. The quantities will be adjusted post-bid as to not exceed the grant amount. The date the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the Bidder's date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. A pre-bid conference will not be held.
