the Bid of Marcus Hook 2024 Road Program. Major items include 1900 sq yds of milling and 215 tons of wearing course. A bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid, made payable to the Borough of Marcus Hook, must accompany each bid. Attention of Bidders is called to all of the requirements contained in the bid package, particularly to the PA Prevailing Wage Rates, Public Works Employment Verification Form, various insurance requirements, various equal opportunity provisions, and the requirements for a payment bond and performance bond for 100% of the contract price and a one-year maintenance bond for 10% of the contract price. The Borough of Marcus Hook reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids thereof, and waive any informalities in the bidding, as they deem in the interest of the Borough. Question Deadline 07/18/2024 If any person contemplating submitting a Bid for construction of the Work is in doubt as to the true meaning of any part of the proposed Contract Documents, or finds discrepancies in or omissions from any part of the proposed Contract Documents, he may submit to the Engineer a written request for interpretation thereof
