The project scope for the Base Bid includes but is not limited to: Acquire any necessary permits and insurances Mobilize and prepare site Provide and install interior ladder Replace partial exterior ladder and balcony walkthrough Replace exterior ladder safety climb with new stainless steel, cable style, safety climb device Replace roof vent with 24" mushroom vent Repair balcony corrosion damage and drill balcony drain holes Furnish and install new manway gaskets and fasteners Adjust overflow flap valve Furnish and install of FAA approved obstruction lights Repair one (1) pit with prior corrosion damage by welding Operate dehumidifier equipment Abrasive blast clean interior surfaces Apply wet area coating Set up containment Abrasive blast clean exterior surfaces Apply exterior protective coating Clean up site The City of Sour Lake, Texas will accept sealed bids for furnishing necessary materials, equipment, superintendence and labor for the City of Sour Lake, Texas - Highway 105 Elevated Storage Tank Rehabilitation Project. The project is generally described as the rehabilitation of the elevated storage tank along Highway 105 in the City of Sour Lake, along with all other necessary items shown in the plans and as required in the contract documents. Bid Security, only in the form of: 1) a certified or cashier's check drawn on a Texas bank and made payable to the City of Sour Lake; or 2) a bond executed by a surety company authorized to do business in Texas, in the amount of not less than five (5%) percent of the total bid, must accompany each bid at the time it is submitted. Bids must be submitted on the form shown in the Contract Documents. A Contractor Qualification Statement must also accompany each bid.
