As of August 14,2024. Project is not yet awarded, anticipated award date is on August 16, 2024. Bayfield County Wisconsin is accepting proposals for interview room equipment and installation. The intent of the interview room is for high quality audio and video recordings for investigatory purposes. It will be used for child, victim and witness interviews in a private (small room), safe and comfortable setting This equipment will go in a newly designed and soon to be constructed room as part of a larger renovation project scheduled for Fall and Winter 2024/2025. Room 003 below is the designated room and current plans are shown below. The intent is for interviews to occur in room 003 with staff able to observe an interview in progress, in Room 010, across the hall. Microphones (2) ceiling or wall mounted, are required to have the capability to capture high quality audio from very soft-spoken individual(s). 2. Cameras (2) that will provide a scene and face view of subject(s). The Camera(s) shall have the capability to capture high-definition video of the subject(s). a. The Scene view camera should capture as much of the room as possible, installed 9-10 feet from the floor, not blocked when door is opened. b. The Face view camera should be 4 to 4.5 feet from the floor, directly across from where the subject will sit, and shall be inconspicuous as possible (Covert Camera) with Zoom capability.
