The Town of Washburn, in Bayfield County, is requesting sealed bids for a Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA) overlay including wedging (as needed) on the following project: Engoe Road - From Bjork Road, east .7 mile (4,910 feet). The Road width is 22 feet. The project will consist of an HMA Resurfacing, 2" thick overlay, which includes an HMA Wedge course averaging approximately one-half inch, plus a paved, compacted HMA overlay course of approximately 1.5". A Tack coat shall be required between the existing pavement and the wedge course and between the wedge course and the overlay. All work must comply with WISDOT 2025 Standard Specifications. Project must be completed by September 30, 2025. Starting October 1, 2025, a late penalty will be assessed at $750 per day. If there are questions, call Scottie Sandstrom at 715-209-4589.
