Bayfield County is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors to provide all necessary labour, materials, equipment, and services for the replacement of existing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in five County-owned facilities. The DHS unit will be removed and replaced, while the current Tower units will be preserved in place to serve as redundant back-up climate control. The DHS unit must be integrated into our Johnson Controls Metysis system. All new equipment should meet or exceed the specifications, capacity, and functionality of the current equipment, with preference given to solutions offering improved efficiency, reliability, and ease of maintenance. 1. Project Scope The selected contractor shall be responsible for: o Removal and proper disposal of existing DHS HVAC equipment in accordance with all applicable regulations. o Furnishing and installing new, energy-efficient HVAC systems appropriate to the size and use of each facility. o Integration with existing electrical, mechanical, and control systems. o Providing all necessary building modifications, electrical connections, and related components. o Testing, adjusting, balancing, and commissioning of new systems. o Training County staff on system operation and maintenance. o Providing warranty and service information. The contractor is expected to coordinate with County staff to minimize disruption of operations during installation
