Renovation of a service station / car wash facility in Washburn, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a service station / car wash facility.
Bayfield County is seeking proposals through solicitation for American made equipment selection and installation of Level 3 and Level 2 electric vehicle (EV) charging equipment at three locations in Bayfield County. These locations are: 1. Hansen's IGA, 226 W. Bayfield Street, Washburn, WI 54891 2. Johnson's Store, 8865 State Highway 13, Port Wing, WI 54865 3. Hunters General Store, 52150 Wisconsin Avenue, Drummond, WI 54832. The successful bidder must work closely with Bayfield County's Energy Specialist, the business site owner's staff, and Xcel Energy's Matthew Biren. Contact information is at the end of this document. The EV equipment will be interconnected to Xcel Energy's distribution system and be independently metered through their utility meter. Xcel will provide 3-phase 480v service, meter, and a point of interconnection (POI). The bidder will provide in their bid all necessary equipment downstream of the POI.
