Renovation of a municipal facility in South Jordan, Utah. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

As of October 10, 2024, project was awarded to Heritage Roofing but the awarded amount is not available. The City of South Jordan seeks to hire an experienced and qualified contractor to perform a complete removal and recovering of the roof of the South Jordan City Hall building located at 1600 W. Town Center Drive, South Jordan, Utah. The Scope of Work includes furnishing and providing all materials, supplies, tools, equipment, labor, supervision, and expertise to properly and professionally remove and dispose of the existing roof covering, identify and repair areas that leak, and recover the roof with a new membrane. The list of Contractor's Responsibilities below do not represent all aspects to complete this project, but it is expected that the contractor will complete any additional items necessary that may not be not mentioned. Contractor's Responsibilities o Remove and dispose of the existing roofing. o Remove membrane flashing from field, walls, and penetrations o Conduct a water test to find existing leak. o Perform repairs needed to prevent further leaking. o Provide professional measuring, placement, adhesion, and installation details for the new roofing materials. o Perform a complete roofing installation that meets or exceeds the established standards for such installation. o Inspect insulation and replace per unit price o Install new 1/2" high density cover board o Install new 60mil PVC membrane manufactured by Sika-Sarnafil o Mechanically fasten system to structural deck o Install new 24 gauge counterflashing at perimeter roof to wall tie-in o Remove wall panels at equipment penthouse o Install cover board at penthouse walls primed to accept membrane adhesive o Re-install wall panels o Adhere 60mil membrane over penthouse walls o Install new flashing at louvered vents and doors at penthouse o Provide the City with a proposed timeline to complete project. o Performance and payment bonds are required on this project. o Provide manufacturer's 20 year system warranty o Provide contractor's 5 year warranty City's Responsibilities o Provide access to the facility and work areas as necessary for the project. o Provide payment for the installation of the project upon receipt of invoice and acceptance of the project work
