Renovation of an educational facility in Normal, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
As of August 16, 2024, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. Normal Community West High School Football Stadium Sound System McLean County Unit School District No. 5 will accept sealed proposals for a complete rebuild of the Normal Community West High School football stadium sound system that is used for public address and music. The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informality in bidding, and to award the contract in the best interest of the District. Installation of home side speakers for approximately 3,000 seated bleachers, mounted to light poles. Installation of visitor side speakers for approximately 1,800 seats, mounted on light poles. Note: This side faces an interstate with road noise. Main control and amplification is located at the press box on the home side. Wireless bridge setup to enable control of the visitor side from the press box. Minimum of 8 input connections in the press box, including XLR, 1/4 inch, and secure Bluetooth.
