Reference Number: 0000357960 Installation of a water supply well by a Department of Water Resources (DWR)-licensed water well company. The well is to be installed at the site of a future CDOT facility located west of Highway 59 north of Interstate 76 in Sedgwick, Colorado, north of the 10641 CO-59 property (see attached figure). The intended uses will be domestic (i.e. sinks, toilets) and for vehicle washing at the future facility. Well depth is expected to be maximum of 500' deep. The contractor shall arrange all necessary permitting, including responsibility for any fees associated with the permit process. The contractor shall complete drilling and install the well casing in accordance with DWR regulations, inclusive of the surface completion. All drill spoils and drilling products are to be removed from the site by the contractor. Once the well is completed, the contractor shall install an appropriately sized in-well pump. The well shall than be developed so that it is prepared to supply water when the building connections are available. Where soil is disturbed for drilling-related operations, the contractor shall restore the site to original grade. Areas of disturbed soil shall be stabilized with aggregate base course (Class 6) to a depth of four inches.
