Site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in New Castle, Delaware. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
Work on this project generally consists of, but is not limited to, furnishing all labor, materials and equipment necessary for the following: Concrete abutment and pier substructure repairs; Bearing pedestal reconstruction with ultra-high-performance concrete ("UHPC"); Bearing replacement; Structural steel repairs and painting; Concrete deck repair; Replacement of deck joints; and Median and railing repairs. It is the intent of the Authority to authorize the Contractor to proceed with the work on or about November 1, 2024. All Project work shall be completed no later than August 20, 2028 The goal for certified Minority-Owned, Women-Owned, and/or Disadvantaged Business Enterprises(collectively, "M/W/DBEs") participation on this project is 5% of the total value of the contract.
