Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Gouverneur, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development; for site work for a residential development; water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.

Bids are to be submitted to msiver@danc.org 17 Waid Street - Base Bid - Furnish and Install various rehabilitation materials and labor to include; Furnish and Install a new metal roof on entire structure with snow guards, twenty one (21) new windows, foundation repair - raise and shore up existing basement wall, form and pour a footer on right side of the building in regards to where wall has detreated. Encapsulate the existing stone wall in footer with concrete. Establish the basement wooden wall back on to the newly poured wall. Drainage - install a drainage run with corrugated pipe and gravel lined ditch along left side of driveway to control run off and run the drainage to the existing yard grate in the backyard. Additionally, the Base Bid will also require new smoke & carbon monoxide detectors along with lead hazard, asbestos, and radon rehabilitation work items Special Requirements: The attention of Bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to lead certifications. The right is reserved to waive any informalities in the Bid and to reject any or all Bids. MWBEs and Section 3 contractors are encouraged to apply. The contractor will ensure that to the greatest extent feasible opportunities for training and employment arising in connection with this NYS CDBG-assisted project will be extended to lower-income project area residents. Further, the contractor will, to the greatest extent feasible, utilize business concerns located in or substantially owned by residents of the project area, in the award of contracts and purchase of services and supplies.
