Renovation of a residential development in Gouverneur, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
21 Rowley Street - Base Bid - Furnish and Install various rehabilitation materials and labor to include; new metal roof on the entire structure with snow guards, and six (6) new vinyl replacement windows, Furnish and Install a new railing on the basement stairs, and Furnish and Install a new grab bar or railing in the upstairs bathroom shower. Additionally, the Base Bid will also require new smoke & carbon monoxide detectors along with lead hazard, asbestos, and radon rehabilitation work items Special Requirements: The attention of Bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to lead certifications. The right is reserved to waive any informalities in the Bid and to reject any or all Bids. MWBEs and Section 3 contractors are encouraged to apply. The contractor will ensure that to the greatest extent feasible opportunities for training and employment arising in connection with this NYS CDBG-assisted project will be extended to lower-income project area residents. Further, the contractor will, to the greatest extent feasible, utilize business concerns located in or substantially owned by residents of the project area, in the award of contracts and purchase of services and supplies.
