A. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following 1. The building is constructed with a slab-on-grade, load-bearing exterior cmu walls and steel frame with brick veneer, and a steel PEMB roof structure and standing seam roof. Project also includes other Work indicated in the Contract Documents. B. Type of Contract: 1. Project will be a single, prime contract. A Cashier S Check or Bid Bond Payable to Houston County Board of Education in an Amount Not Less Than Five (5) Percent if the Amount of the Bid, but in No Event More Than $10,000, Must Accompany Bidder Proposals. Performance and Payment Bonds and Evidence of Insurance Required in the Bid Documents Will Be Required at the Signing of the Contract. Architect Will Transmit to All Prospective Bidders of Record Such Addenda as Architect Considers Necessary to Respond to Questions Arising at the Meeting. Oral Statements May Not Be Relied Upon and Will Not Be Binding. Bids Must Be Submitted on Proposal Forms Furnished by the Architect or Copies Thereof.
